Data Storytelling emphasizes digging into data to find key takeaway points, weaving them into a narrative, constructing clear, useful, and effective dashboards, and finally presenting the data in a meaningful narrative format.

Having been trained in psychology, I find the mentality underlying witch trials and other such uncanny persecutions fascinating, so when I came across the wonderful dataset compiled by economists Peter T. Leeson and Jake Russ in 2016 on witch trials in Europe from the early 1300s to the late 1700s, I couldn't pass it up!

Audience
I created this dashboard as my first Tableau project partially to be a learning tool for students just beginning their study of European history, but also for the enjoyment of other dabblers with a love of history.
